History

PTE Precision Machining was founded in 1972 on Badgers Island in Kittery, ME. From modest beginnings in a small garage, PTE has grown to occupy an 11,000 sq/ft machine shop offering CNC, manual machining and welding and fabrication services. In the beginning PTE provided machining services to the Navy and over the years PTE began designing equipment for a variety of industries and applications. Today PTE provides machining and fabrication services to a variety of industries including the Department of Defense, sub-sea communications, aerospace, assembly systems, sensing systems, optics, food service, universities and even our neighbors who have small welding jobs.
